You know how hard we work at our Image transfers and not always successfully? Well what if you could get the look, without all the work.

Golden I think has made a mistake in naming this product. It is very misleading. This is not a class about creating anything digitally through Photoshop or any photo editor. It's about what you can now print on that you couldn't print on before, because inkjet ink won't adhere to many surfaces without going dull or faint or blurry. And too often inks will pool, run and smear easily. But not anymore!

This workshop is not about what you create with your finished product, but the actual creating of unique surfaces to use in your artwork. First you create the surface and then you marry it with your own photos and images and print on it with your inkjet printer. Think of the possibilities! And these new mediums from Golden truly does make those possibilities endless!

The concept of these products are sometimes hard to imagine because they take us outside our box... but when you see them in action your Creative Muse is going to jump for joy!

  • Once we get into working this class you will be able to look around and find items you already have to experiment printing on so I didn’t list a whole lot of supplies, just basics to get you started.

  • Matte Medium
  • Soft Gel Gloss
  • Grounds for Pastel – optional
  • Ribbon – light colored, at least 7/8” wide
  • Acrylic Paint – your favorite - lighter colors work best

  • Foam brushes – a 1” and also 2” or 3” wide,
